Guide To Finding Dogs For Adoption
I have a friend who would give just about anything to get a dog. She is always online looking for dogs for adoption, though she knows she is only torturing herself. She is married to a man who she no longer loves, but until she can get out, she is stuck with him and his rules. She wants a dog, and he refuses to even consider getting one. She guesses that is for the best, as it will just be one more thing to deal with in the divorce, but that doesn?t stop her from looking and dreaming.
She?s a gentle soul, and it is not surprising that she is looking through dogs for adoption rather than buying a pup from a breeder or a pet store. Her heart is big enough for ten dogs, but she only wants to get one. She is always sending me links of dogs for adoption that she has fallen in love with. She says that when she is looking through the websites, her husband just walks by and huffs as her. I can?t wait until she is out of there and he can walk around and huff all he wants, she just won?t have to hear it.
I have no doubt that once she can free herself one of the first things she will do after finding a new home is to go and get one of those dogs for adoption to bring home with her. Marriage is give and take of course, but this goes far beyond wanting a dog. She?s been fighting to save her marriage for three years now, and nothing is working, and the fact that he refuses to even look at any of the dogs for adoption is just another thing that proves he really doesn?t give a rip about her at all.
If you are looking for a new friend, you should consider looking for dogs for adoption as well. Though they may not be worth much in the terms of breeding, they are worth much more than that. You may find the best dog in the world this way, and you may also be saving their life. There are many good dogs for adoption out there that may be put to sleep if they are not taken into a good home. They are waiting for a wonderful soul like you to come along and give them a good life, a life they deserve to have.
