Atlanta Based All Medical Personnel Goes To The Dogs In Its New Location

Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) December 15, 2007 -- When All Medical Personnel needed to find new office quarters, the medical and professional staffing firm searched with a particular requirement in mind---the new offices had to allow pets. Applying their usual efficiency to this challenge, the team located an ideal condominium at Glassworks in Atlanta's hot "intown" section after only one month of serious looking.

"The high-rise buildings that appealed to us aesthetically had clauses that disallowed tenants from bringing pets to the workplace," says Deborah Wolf, President of All Medical Personnel. "I would not resort to sneaking them in. I play by the rules, and so do my dogs." When she then learned that Glassworks---the newly renovated office condominiums that once housed a glassworks factory---welcomed four-legged friends, Wolf sensed that everyone would feel right at home there. "At Glassworks, two of three owners have a pet in the office," Wolf says. "One lucky dog even has a fenced-in patio with upscale furniture, a cozy bed, and an outdoor heater for the colder months."

The All Medical Personnel team enjoys numerous advantages of a pet-friendly office. "We work long hours with short deadlines, but the atmosphere is lighthearted and pleasurable," says Mike Ketchen. "Dogs are naturally easygoing. Having them around helps us maintain perspective and keep the stress level to a minimum." They also serve double-duty as companionship and as watchdogs when Wolf and others are working late. "Coco and Duchess intuitively know the difference between operating hours and the close of business," Wolf explains. "They bark if someone knocks on the door or rings the bell after hours. However, during the day, they are calm yet friendly when clients or the postman stop by." Wolf adds that her dogs' arrangement gives her peace of mind and enables her to be more productive. "If my elderly dogs were home alone, I'd spend time worrying and also running home to feed them, let them out, etc." she says. "In this situation, I can stay as late as I need and they're fine. It simply makes sense to allow well-behaved pets in the office."

Both rescue dogs, Duchess and Coco were adopted from the Atlanta Humane Society. Offering continued support to the organization, All Medical Personnel looks forward to upcoming events including involvement in the 2008 Annual Pet Parade.
